# Postatron

> Postatron is a social media scheduler for people and their AI agents. One post goes to X, Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky, from the dashboard, a REST API, a remote MCP server or a CLI, each checked against the same platform rules and plan limits.

Pinterest is coming soon. There is no free plan: every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, card required.

## Plans

- Starter: $15 a month. 5 connected accounts, unlimited posts (300 a month to X), 2 profiles, 1 queue.
- Growth: $39 a month. 15 accounts, unlimited posts (1,500 a month to X), 5 profiles, 5 queues, 3 teammates.
- Scale: $99 a month. 50 accounts, unlimited posts (4,000 a month to X), 20 profiles, unlimited queues, 10 teammates.
- Yearly billing gives two months free. Prices are fixed: nothing is billed beyond the plan.
- Posts are unlimited on every plan. X charges for every post, so posts to X have a monthly cap, each tweet of a thread counting as one, and X posts with a link a smaller one: 30, 80 or 200.
- The REST API, MCP server and CLI are on every plan, rate limited at 30 writes, 60 reads and 120 upload sessions a minute.

- Hosted connect: an app built on the API can let its own customers connect their accounts without a Postatron login. Make a profile per customer (`POST /v1/profiles`), then a single-use link (`POST /v1/connect/sessions`, an hour by default); the customer signs in to the platform on a Postatron-branded page and returns to the app's `redirect_url` with `status=connected` and `account_id`. Confirm with `GET /v1/connect/sessions/{id}`.
- Idempotency: `POST /v1/posts` takes an `Idempotency-Key` header (MCP `create_post`: `idempotency_key`), kept 24 hours, so a retried create never posts twice.

## Platforms

- X: 280 characters (25,000 for X Premium), threads of up to 25 posts, polls, Communities. Postatron does not read X analytics.
- Instagram: a photo or video on every post; Reels, carousels, Stories, feed posts, first comments. Business or creator accounts.
- Facebook: Pages only; 63,206 characters, photos or a video.
- LinkedIn: personal profiles, 3,000 characters; company Pages coming soon.
- TikTok: video or photo posts, published directly or sent to the TikTok inbox as a draft; captions counted in UTF-16.
- YouTube: one video per post, with title, description, privacy, made for kids, tags, category and thumbnail.
- Threads: 500 characters, one photo or video.
- Bluesky: 300 characters, up to four images or a video; connected with an app password.
